  • What costs are associated with living in a cottage?

    Cottage residents have an annual rental agreement and also pay a one-time entrance fee, of which 80% is refundable. We require 90 days’ notice should you decide to leave, but only 30 days if it’s a medical emergency. At the end of your contract period, 80% of your entrance fee is refunded when unit is re-rented. This makes living at Sterling Estates of East Cobb a great way to preserve assets for yourself and your estate.

  • Are meals included?

    Our Cottages all have large, fully equipped kitchens and comfortable dining rooms, so our Cottage residents prefer cooking most of their own meals. Included in your monthly rent is 30 meals a month taken as you please in our Main Residence Dining Room.  Additional meals can be charged to you as used on a monthly basis.

  • Are there additional costs for the wellness programs?

    Wellness at Sterling Estates is an integral part of our daily lives and we believe our Sterling Way wellness programs are very effective in helping one improve his or her physical or mental wellbeing. There are no additional costs associated with participating in our Sterling Way wellness programs, using our exercise facilities, or swimming in the pool by yourself or with friends and family.   • What if my health needs change?

    Should the need arise, all Cottage residents are guaranteed priority for an Assisted Living Suite in the Main Residence without the charge of a community fee (one month’s rent). These Suites were designed to meet both Independent and Assisted Living needs. For couples, when one spouse comes to need assistance, residents only pay for the specific Assisted Living services required. We do have a number of residents who need no assistance living in our Main Residence.
